- make "demo" creation (on the Mac) your day-job. While in university this could help bring in some much needed cash. Indeed it could provide valuable spin to your research. This has alot of pptential. It provides you with a means to develop skills that are in demand. Also, it is a sector of the market that you would find very fascinating. You can combine this endeavour with some math and physics and work on simulation problems. Let this be a deep part of your psyche. Let it inform your understanding of cognition and cognitive science in general.

- keep standards for thought, behavior, speech, etc. very high indeed
- always consider how to improve ones strategy for success in all things. Reconsider how well you are doing at trying to accomplish your goals.
